MyHeart

Years 2008-2010

    MyHeart project is an Integrated Project, funded by the IST programme of the European Commission's 6th Framework. The MyHeart consortium consists of 33 different partners from 11 countries. It is a research effort of industrial partners, research institutes, academics and medical hospitals covering the whole value chain from textile research, via fashion and electronic design, towards medical and home-based applications.

    Artica Telemedicina collaborates within the Project as a subcontractor for the technical monitoring of the pilot testing of Heart Failure with 100 patients in Spain.

    Within this pilot several devices will be used around the patient for monitoring patient status in order to obtain valuable information for Heart Failure Research. These devices include weight measurement, blood pressure measurement, bed monitoring and on body measurements. Artica´s service will include pilot technical monitoring and a patient call center service for aiding and empowering patients during the pilot execution.
